A photoshoot can be exciting and nerve-racking at the same time. The majority of my clients are not professional models and the idea of booking a personal photoshoot is a big deal and we treat each and everyone as such. It's my goal to not only make stunning images but to do it while creating and providing a great experience. Your comfort is priority number one!

Full Day

$ 2500 + tax

- Use of my studio
- Collaboration to create personal mood board
- Multiple looks (7-8)
- 7 hrs experience
- Includes 4 same day teasers (edits) and 20 additional edits

* Hair & makeup is extra and ranges from $150 - $250 per
* Split with a girlfriend for no extra charge

Half Day

$ 1500 + tax

- Use of my studio
- Collaboration to create personal mood board
- Multiple looks (3)
- 4 hr experience
- Includes 3 same day teasers (edits) and 8 additional edits

* Hair & makeup is extra and ranges from $150 - $250 per
*Add a girlfriend of partner for an additional $350 and get an extra hour and an additional 4 edits

Team Shoot

$ 700 + tax

- Based on a minimum of 6 athletes
- Use of my studio
- 45 min of shooting
- 2 looks
- Includes 2 same day teasers (edits) and 3 additional edits

*Additional fee for hair & makeup
*Additional charge for location shoots

Video

$ 795 + tax

- available on the Full Day or Half Day sessions
- Includes interview
- Coverage of behind the scenes and of you various looks
- Edited version for Instagram, Vimeo & YouTube

This is my first fitness shoot. How does it work form here?

Booking your personal fitness shoot starts with the collaboration process where we work together to create a storyboard of images/looks. Your storyboard will help guide you in your wardrobe choices. I do suggest staying away from busy patterns, big logos and some bright colours. Simple is always better and when in doubt just bring it.

How does posing work? Am I expected to know what to do in front of the camera?

I've been told I give just the right amount of direction. My goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to be natural and relaxed and from there we explore different angles and actions highlight you strengths. Its a process and we get there together. I have a lifetime of ideas in my head that have been pulled from magazines, movies, fashion, pop culture and I draw on those during the collaboration process. But I am constantly reinforcing with each client that those are only for reference and motivation. Our objective to make a truely unique image of YOU. I love real moments. The moments between the moments.

Can I bring someone for moral support?

Absolutely! A girlfriend, sibling, partner, I even had a girl bring her mom. Anything that makes you feel more at ease. We have a lounge with free wifi always enjoy the company. Unfortunately no picture can be taken during our shoot other than you truly. LOL

How does booking and payment work?

I require $300 non refundable deposit (via email transfer) to secure your scheduled shoot. The Balance is due at the end of the shoot. I except, cash, chq or email transfer

Do I get my deposit back if I cancel or don't show up?

Your deposit is non refundable so please be fully committed at time of booking.

Can I move dates once I've booked (and paid my deposit)?

You can reschedule your shoot up to 3 weeks prior with no penalty. Last minute change come at the expense of myself, the studio and hair & makeup artist. You will lose your deposit if you reschedule inside of the 3 week window.

Where is your studio?

West Studio (270 Sherman Ave N Hamilton) is located in a very cool industrial part of Hamilton. 270 Sherman has developed a reputation as the #1 location west of Toronto for film, commercial and photography. The surrounding building also provide endless backdrops for shoots of every kind. There is a link to google maps at the top of my site as well as a download (that includes parking instructions) at the bottom of each page on my site.

What is your cancellation policy

A non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. I require a minimum of 3 weeks notice if you want reschedule your shoot without losing your deposit. Please understand that last minute changes are very costly (studio, hair & makeup and assistants) and don't allow me time to rebook the session.

How will my images be delivered?

You will receive your edited teasers usually via text. Within a few days you will receive a link via email to a gallery of all your unedited images. Keep I'm mind that this is just a gallery, not image storage. So eventually the gallery will expire. (without notice) It's your responsibility to download any images you wish to keep before your gallery expires.

How does editing work and how long will it take?

"EDITING" includes colour corrections, cropping and skin touchups. The number of edits is based on the package/Experience you purchase. You can create "Favourite" Folders within the gallery to help you narrow down your selections for editing. Please let us know when you've made your final selections for editing. You have 3 months from the date of your shoot to make your selections. Edits usually take 1 -2 weeks. Your final edits will be uploaded to your gallery in high resolutions and should be downloaded immediately.

Do I get to keep my unedited images?

Yes. Many of the images don't need editing and you can download any or all from your gallery in low resolution (suitable for social media use) I recommend downloading all your images as soon as you receive your gallery.

Can I get additional edits?

Absolutely you can. Additional edits are $35 (plus tax) each or $25 (plus tax) if you order four or more.

Can I use my images any way I wish?

Legally the images belong to the photographer and you are given permission for use. Your use is meant to be personal: Personal social media. Personal website. If a third party (Sponsor) wants to use the images they must have written permission and may be subject to a users fee.

How does hair & makeup work? How should I arrive? Do I need to come early?

Hair & makeup is included all fitness and beauty shoots. Please come with your hair clean and dry. Makeup includes lashes. Please arrive on time at your scheduled time (usually 9am or 1pm unless other wise stated) The hair & makeup process takes approximately 90 mins.

If you are booking with me based on a referral you already know that this is going to be a different shooting experience then you’ve had before or is offered elsewhere. I’m invested in every session I take and I’m passionate about making images that capture emotion, feeling and are unique to each client. My hope is that the environment we create in my studio allows clients to truly relax, feel confident, free to collaborate and to express themselves. That’s how the magic happens.
